The study discusses a number of cases in cities including Jakarta, Paramaribo and Amsterdam. Several questions are being addressed, such as: how can socially responsible entrepreneurs contribute to the revitalization of historical towns and cities? What conditions have to be met at a local level to stimulate social commitment among these entrepreneurs? And how are responsibilities allocated in a public-private partnership?
