Since the signing of the Treaty of Malta, commercial businesses are at the forefront of performing archaeological research. This resulted in stacks of research reports. The insights we can take from those reports allow us to add new stories to our history. This newfound knowledge also assists in considering the archaeological importance during the process of spatial planning, and helps to formulate new and better questions. This ‘Malta Harvest’ requires scientific syntheses.

The Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands places assignments to make these syntheses. The syntheses are also used for the renewal of the National Research Agenda Archaeology (NOaA).

Below you will find a list of reports. Please keep in mind that the larger part of the reports has been written in Dutch.
