Coordination between Dutch National Research agenda for Archaeology (NOaA) and Malta Harvest research results

This analysis is based on three overarching themes: ‘people and material’, ‘people and space’ and ‘people and environment’. For a limited number of subjects, the research has yielded new knowledge, for a larger number of subjects it has not. It has been concluded that there must be a better coordination between questions coming from the NOaA and the possibilities offered by the Malta Harvest research results. It is emphasized that a much more integral approach to research is necessary, in which specialists must be involved at an early stage. Reports and (specialist) datasets must become more accessible for in-depth research.
