On 22 July the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE) will host an international networking event at its premises in Amersfoort.
During the event 20 African urban professionals will share their experiences in heritage management with the Dutch heritage field. In a range of parallel workshops topical, global issues will be addressed like climate change and water challenges, urban revitalization and densification, adaptive re-use and sustainable development, governance and stakeholder participation.
This event is for professionals from the Dutch and international fields of heritage and the spatial domain. Participants of the UHS training – 20 professionals from partner countries of the International Cultural Policy – are eager to share their experiences with Dutch colleagues at this event.
The event is organized on the occasion of the summer course Urban Heritage Strategies, organized by the RCEin close collaboration with the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since this is an international network event, the language used is English. The programme will be announced later, registration is possible on this webpage.
This event takes place on location, and will not be streamed online.
