The UNESCO Training Manual for the Protection and Management of Underwater Cultural Heritage in Latin America and the Caribbean is published in co-operation with UNESCO. Adapted from the first edition published in 2012 on the Protection and Management of Underwater Cultural Heritage in Asia and the Pacific, it aims to support capacity building and public awareness for heritage professionals, national authorities and universities on the protection and management of underwater archaeological sites in Latin America and the Caribbean.
